hot hot heat

i can finally be okay with this summer, and this past year, because i had the best day of my life on Thursday. I can honestly say that, because even though I woke up at 4:50am to take my parents to the airport, the day was a complete success. I went to nantasket beach with heather and kelly, where the water was fantastically warm. We had good greasy pizza and played cool songs on the jukebox, then headed off to walmart to pick up some necessities for the evening. Spent the next hour and a half getting ready for a wicked cool show. Which we head to after picking up Erin and Sara.

The show. Absolutely amazing. I semi-hate Kelly for never introducing me to the Bravery and Hot Hot Heat before. But then I mostly-love her because she did invite me to the show.

After the show was quick mall shopping, then off to find a tattoo/piercing place. Heather got a hot black star tattoo, Kelly got her lip pierced, and Sara and I got different parts of our ears pierced (the conch and rouke, apparently). The piercer, TJ, was mad hot. And extremely straight-edge.

We headed off to the car to get ready to leave and as we were pulling out our parking spot in downtown Providence we spotted Hot Hot Heat on the corner. Or Sara did rather. No matter. We hopped out of the car and chatted with them for a bit.

So, life is pretty good, though I desperately need to have enough time to read Harry Potter.
